Change bot name or description

Use BotFather to edit how your bot appears in chats and its profile.

  1. /mybots

    In BotFather, send /mybots and select your bot from the list.

  2. Edit Bot

    Use Edit Bot → Edit Name / Edit Description / Edit About to change the display name, short description, or About text.

  3. Profile photo

    From the same menu, choose Edit Botpic and upload a square icon for your bot.
